Inside Sales Rep

We have a need for an Inside Sales Rep who will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Maintain activities that foster the development and retention of customer loyalty including periodic reviews, phone calls, and on occasion, site visits
  • Monitor status of all scheduled shipments for the week and communicate any discrepancies and resolves issues
  • Ensure customers’ orders and associated work orders are entered into ERP system in a timely manner and in accordance with company Contract Review policy
  • Ensure that all sales orders are updated in a timely manner with respect to any changes (i.e. cancellations, slips, advances, etc.)
  • Obtain Customer Report Cards – Customer Satisfaction (Quality/On Time Delivery) and analyzes report data for accuracy and communicates any discrepancies to customer for resolution or clarification
  • Function as the internal expert for all assigned customers
  • Maintain close customer contact on all open and unresolved issues pertaining to customer orders or return
  • Ensure all incoming RFQs/RFIs include acceptable information for processing
  • Analyze all quotes with President and to identify and resolve potential issues with pricing, delivery and other strategic concerns
  • Update Sales Net
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all RFQs/RFIs for applicable Customer communications and strategies
  • Participates in the quotation process so that in-depth knowledge of customer requirements is carried throughout the quoting process

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of inside sales experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment and possess excellent computer skills in a windows environment; MRP/ERP systems (preferably Visual), MS Office, and Sales Net.  We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes BCBS health, Sun Life dental , Life and AD&D, STD, Eye discount plan, 401k with company match and more.  Please submit your resume with salary requirements.  This is a salaried position.
