Purchasing Administrator – Temp to Perm

We are adding a new position to our Purchasing team, a Purchasing Administrator.  The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, as well as 1-2 year’s experience in a purchasing department in a manufacturing environment.  Prior ERP system experience a must  (Visual preferred) as well as being very detail oriented and possessing excellent computer skills.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Review and resolve past due purchase orders
  • Confirm outstanding purchase orders
  • Resolve material constraints on the production floor
  • Return or re-work discrepant material to suppliers
  • Update Visual database for pricing, etc. for current supplier base
  • Order shop floor supplies
