On Dec 4th, 2014 Dakota Systems celebrated 30 years of building process-critical systems. Over 200 people including employees, family, friends, customers and suppliers gathered to help mark the event.

badge-30years5In 1984 John M. Thomas founded Dakota Systems to meet the hazardous gas delivery needs of the semiconductor industry. Over the years, Dakota has grown as a designer and supplier of process-critical systems for the semiconductor industry and emerging markets including nanotechnology, alternative energy, and bioreactors for the life science industry.

A library of Dakota built systems from the past 30 years was on display including semiconductor equipment built for IBM, MKS and Brooks Automation juxtaposed by the centerpiece of the event – a 5,000 liter state of the art bioreactor commissioned by Cytovance Bioligics to manufacture next generation pharmaceuticals.

Dakota Systems looks forward to building upon 30 years of business continuing to partner with companies to not only build better systems but also help build better businesses. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the event and to the many more who have contributed to Dakota’s success over the past 30 years.
